Underwater trail and good snorkeling around Trunk Cay; famous beach.

Kayaking in Trunk Bay

Kayaking along the beach in Trunk Bay.

Though Trunk Bay is a lumpy anchorage, it is one of the most photographed beaches in the world. Just southwest of Cinnamon Bay, anchoring in Trunk Bay is relegated to four mooring balls set unprotected in the channel between Johnson Reef and the southwest side of Trunk Cay.

The beach area is roped off. There is a six-buoy dinghy channel leading to a dinghy landing clearly visible on the right side of the beach.

Good-sized waves roll into the bay and most yachtsmen to do not beach the dinghy but instead leave their passengers off in shallow water and return to pick them up later.
