White Bay

A great place for solitude, but landing on the resort’s beach is discouraged.

White Bay is tucked into the crook of the island. Pass Carrot Rock to the south or Key Cay to the west. The beach sports half a dozen cabanas built to shade the guests at the Peter Island Resort. “White Bay” is a misnomer and would be better named “Tan Bay” because the sand on the beach is not the brilliant white powder seen at Deadman Bay, on the other side of the island.

The usual northwest bound current can make the anchorage rolly under some circumstances and the beach is for the private use of the guests at the Peter Island Resort.
