Fireball Full Moon Party

Monthly—Trellis Bay, Beef Island
A full moon in the BVI is something special. An option to the raucous party at The Bomba Shack is the Fireball Full Moon Party presented by Jeremy Wright, the owner of the Cyber Café and Aragorn of Aragorn’s Studio. Held on the beach with flaming torches and unique flaming moon balls, it is a spectacle for the entire family.

—A record number of yachts participate in this fun event every year. A 16 mile race from Trellis Bay to Anegada where food drinks and lots of dancing awaits the participants, then on Monday its racing back to Jolly Rogers for the prize giving ceremony. 56th BVI Emancipation Festival 2010

July 31-August 6th—This annual festival is also known as August Festival and is the BVI premier cultural showcase with an array of activities including the Freedom March and Emancipation Service. Top local, regional and international artists perform nightly at Festival Village. A grand parade on Monday showcases our troops and floats.
